    Guessing you voted for the Pirate party? NPR reported they had something like 20-30% of the population's support.

    @bogart yeah... the established parties in Sweden have recently been all too eager to introduce lookalikes to the US DMCA and warrantless wiretapping laws, etc. The pirate party seems to be the only one being firmly behind free speech online.

    I'd be surprised if they got anything close to 20-30% though, even the most optimistic polls I've seen are more in the 4-8% range...

    I didn't believe it when I heard it, either. So I either misunderstood the statistic (maybe it was a particular demographic) or they got it wrong.

    Yes. This election is not about the Swedish government though (next election for that is in 2010), but about the European Parliament, which is the elected body of the EU.
